You can send an e-mail to a group of people without displaying all their addresses by using the following method:
1. Address the e-mail messasge to yourself
2. Then enter your recipients’ addresses in the “BCC” line of your email composition window. (Click “Add Bcc” for Gmail or ”Show BCC” for Yahoo)
Your recipients will receive your email without all their addresses listed at the top.
Common errors include typo error, putting a full stop at the end of the e-mail address or forgetting to add in the “@”.
If you are writing to someone who has posted a message online, they may have added the words “no spam” into their e-mail address to confuse the robots (software that gather info online). For example, if you see “joseph@nospam.yahoo.com”, all you have to do is take out the word nospam.
